About the event
NASARIMBA is the collaborative practice of Calgary-based artists Rachel Ziriada and Mikhail Miller. Working across painting, printmaking, installation, sculpture, and mural work, the duo has developed a shared visual language rooted in colour, abstraction, pattern, and architectural form.
At Sub Space, NASARIMBA will present works on paper alongside larger-scale canvas pieces. Drawing from the site-responsive approach of their mural practice — often informed by local culture, lived experience, and architecture — the exhibition will be curated in conversation with the Substation’s distinct surfaces, structure, and the people who move through it.
