Built in 1952 as Substation No. 7, this enduring brick, steel, and concrete structure was originally designed to channel and transform energy. Its foundation was engineered to support multi-ton transformers — an essential node in the city’s electrical grid. Today, it houses a collective of seven independent businesses — each bringing their own energy, craft, and vision to a shared historic space.
