Welcome to
The Substation Collective

Named in homage to the buildings origins, welcome to The Substation Collective. Built in 1952 as Substation No. 7, this enduring brick, steel, and concrete structure was originally designed to channel and transform energy. Its foundation was engineered to support multi-ton transformers — an essential node in the city’s electrical grid. Today, it houses a collective of seven independent businesses — each bringing their own energy, craft, and vision to a shared historic space.
